Jose Mourinho has suggested he’s not looking to leave Roma, despite links to the Chelsea manager’s job.
Jose Mourinho, who’s currently in his second season as the Roma boss, is doing well with the Italian side.
His current team are fourth in the Serie A league table, sitting above both Milan giants. Also, they qualified for the Europa League semi-finals last night by beating Feyenoord.
The 60-year-old coach explained yesterday that he’s very happy in Rome right now:
“I’m happy here at Roma. I love the people and they like me. Sometimes I’m frustrated but I’m sure there’s room for improvement here,” Mourinho said, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.

It doesn’t sound like Mourinho will be on the move any time soon, but he’s linked in the media with returning to Chelsea for a third spell in charge at Stamford Bridge.
He’s widely regarded as the club’s best ever manager for his previous success, so perhaps it’s no surprise his name has cropped up again while the Blues are searching for a permanent appointment next season.
Journalists Sergio Fernandez and Alvaro de Grado reported earlier this month that Chelsea have contacted Mourinho about becoming their new manager.
However, journalist Fabrizio Romano claimed yesterday that Chelsea are now in conversations with available coach Mauricio Pochettino. Julian Nagelsmann is named as the frontrunner for the job, though.

We doubt we’ll see a more charismatic or loved manager at Chelsea than Mourinho for a long, long time.
However, that doesn’t mean he should be given another spell in West London.
It looks like his feet are firmly planted with this Roma project, where he’s overachieving with his current group of players.
We’re not too sure it’s worth him returning to the Premier League again.
