Trevor Sinclair claims Chelsea should sign Jules Kounde as the perfect replacement for Antonio Rudiger.
With Rudiger’s summer exit confirmed, Blues supporters are intrigued to see how the club go about replacing such a vital player in Thomas Tuchel’s side.
The 29-year-old centre-half has been a standout performer this season at Stamford Bridge that suits the back three.

Chelsea should sign Kounde
TalkSPORT pundit Sinclair says Sevilla defender Kounde can be the man to fill the Rudiger void amid reported interest from Chelsea.
“We are already talking about replacing Rudiger with Kounde, which I think will be a great change for the football club,” Sinclair told talkSPORT.
It’s been reported that Chelsea have informed Kounde of their intention to sign him this summer once the takeover is complete. Incidentally, the government has now approved the takeover from Todd Boehly’s consortium.
The 23-year-old is a ball-playing centre-back that’s made a huge impression in La Liga with Sevilla, so is a very exciting target on the Blues radar.

Would be huge start
Yes, Kounde’s signature would be a brilliant way to begin the Boehly era.
It’s a very important summer transfer window under new ownership, especially because the current situation of the squad dictates they need to sign centre-backs.
Kounde has all the traits of a modern day defender that should see him shine in the Premier League.
He’s an extremely comfortable player with the ball at his feet that’s brave in possession, which is going to be vital for a Chelsea side that usually dominates possession.
The Frenchman’s pace, athleticism and aggression are more big ticks against his name.
