It is fair to say that Chelsea defender Aaron Anselmino is going to be missed at Borussia Dortmund.
It also looks like Anselmino is going to miss Dortmund after the 20-year-old was seen in tears as he said his goodbyes to his teammates.
Chelsea recently recalled Anselmino from his loan at the German club, which did not go down well with the bosses there.

It has been claimed that the Dortmund hierarchy are furious with Chelsea because of how late it is in the transfer window.

Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel ‘loved’ Aaron Anselmino’s ‘intensity and aggression’
One player at Signal Iduna Park who will miss Anselmino is goalkeeper Gregor Kobel.
The 28-year-old really enjoyed playing alongside the central defender because of the “intensity and aggression” that he showed.
Speaking about his former teammate ahead of Dortmund’s clash against Inter Milan in the Champions League, he said via Get German Football News: “Aaron was a super guy, both on and off the pitch. I loved having his intensity and aggression working ahead of me.
“I’m thus very sad that we no longer have him. He was a great guy. It was both a nice and emotional event [when we learned that he was leaving us].”
While Chelsea have recalled Anselmino back to Stamford Bridge, the Argentina youth international is not the only option that they considered.
According to one report, Chelsea also thought about recalling Mamadou Sarr from his loan at Strasbourg. In the end, though, the Club World Cup winners went with Anselmino.

What has Liam Rosenior said about Aaron Anselmino following his return to Chelsea?
Although Anselmino has been brought back to Chelsea, there is no guarantee that he will remain part of Liam Rosenior‘s squad.
The Chelsea manager was asked about his plans for Anselmino following his return to west London.
In his pre-match press conference ahead of Napoli versus Chelsea, Rosenior told The Standard and other outlets: “He is due back on Thursday or Friday. Hopefully from there we can make his situation clearer.
“He’s had a great start to the season at Dortmund and I need to have a conversation with him about our future plans.”
The former Strasbourg boss already has Trevoh Chalobah, Benoit Badiashile, Wesley Fofana, Tosin Adarabioyo and Josh Acheampong to call upon.
If Anselmino does stay at Chelsea, he faces plenty of competition to get into Rosenior’s starting XI. A lot of questions are going to be asked if Anselmino remains at the Blues and does not play. His loan spell at Dortmund was going very well.
