Jamie O’Hara was seriously not impressed by Chelsea in Saturday’s defeat against Brighton.
Chelsea were reminded yet again this afternoon how far off the pace they are this season, losing 2-1 at home to Brighton in the Premier League.
The Blues stay 11th in the league table after yet another loss and now face the prospect of slipping even further down the ladder. In contrast, seventh-placed Brighton are playing attractive football and look a good bet for a European finish.

Conor Gallagher ended Chelsea’s goal drought on the weekend with his opening goal. Brighton hit an equaliser before half-time through Danny Welbeck, though.
O’Hara was left stunned that Chelsea were still in the game after an hour on the clock:
He wrote on Twitter: “Wow Chelsea are absolutely terrible, how they’re drawing I’ll never know, 70% possession and 20 shots Brighton have had in 60 minutes.”
Brighton’s dominance did eventually pay off for them when Julio Enciso scored a thunderbolt from distance in the 69th minute.
Frank Lampard’s side tried to rally late on to rescue a result, but everything around Stamford Bridge looks fairly bleak right now.
It’s even hard to see where the next league point is going to come from!

In fairness, Brighton outplayed and outclassed Chelsea earlier today. Therefore, we’re not holding out much hope of a comeback against Real Madrid.
Lampard will try rally the troops for Tuesday night’s Champions League quarter-final clash against Madrid, but he goes into it having lost his first three matches as caretaker manager.
The Blues trail 2-0 on aggregate from the first leg against Madrid, leaving them needing a miraculous performance next week.
A lot stranger things have happened before, especially in the Champions League, but being huge underdogs would be an understatement.
