Former Premier League striker Gabby Agbonlahor was not impressed with what he saw from Mykhailo Mudryk in Chelsea’s 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest.
Mykhailo Mudryk came on in the second half with Chelsea 1-0 down but was unable to help his side turn things around.
Discussing the winger on talkSPORT, Agbonlahor said: “Mudryk come on, he nearly gave away two goals. Like honestly, he was absolutely useless. He’s had 19 games, zero goals.”

Mudryk is yet to start a game under Mauricio Pochettino this season and did not do enough against Forest to convince his manager to put him in his first XI for Chelsea’s next outing.
The 22-year-old is just coming back from injury, though, so that does need to be taken into account when looking at the Forest match.
Mykhailo Mudryk is not why Chelsea lost
It would probably be unfair to blame Mudryk for Chelsea’s defeat against Steve Cooper’s side.
Mudryk did not even start the game and other players had chances to score, with Nicolas Jackson missing an absolutely sitter late in the second half.

Going forward, the £100,000-a-week (Spotrac) Ukraine international obviously has to do much better, otherwise this move to Stamford Bridge is just not going to work out.
It has not so far, but Mudryk has time to turn things around, which he hopefully does. Pochettino is going to need all of his players at their best if Chelsea are to have any hope of qualifying for the Champions League this season, which is already starting to look like an extremely difficult task after their poor start to the campaign.
There is a long way to go, but things have quickly taken an ugly turn at Stamford Bridge.
