Chelsea really impressed Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer with their performance against Liverpool last weekend.
Chelsea beat the Premier League champions 2-1, with Estevao Willian winning the game for his side in stoppage time.
Since then, Estevao has come in for a lot of praise, though the winger has not made Shearer‘s Team of the Week.
However, three of his teammates have, including Chelsea’s other goalscorer on the day, Moises Caicedo.

Moises Caicedo, Marc Cucurella and Josh Acheampong all make the cut
As well as Caicedo, Shearer also named Marc Cucurella and Josh Acheampong in his Premier League Team of the Week for matchweek 7.
Cucurella dealt well with Mohamed Salah and was the man who set up Estevao’s winner, while Acheampong did not fare badly either.
Acheampong is only 19 and was making just his second league start of the season, but the occasion did not get to him.
On top of including him in his Team of the Week, Shearer also spoke about Acheampong on a podcast, praising the England Under-21 international for stepping up amid Chelsea’s injury crisis in central defence.
Acheampong is a right-back but can also play at centre-back and proved that in the Liverpool win.

What Alan Shearer has said about Enzo Maresca’s tactics against Liverpool
In total, Chelsea had four representatives in Shearer’s team, as the former striker included Enzo Maresca as his manager.
He thought that the Chelsea boss got his tactics spot on, telling the Premier League’s official website: “His tactics were perfect to expose Liverpool’s gaps in midfield and defence. Maresca dealt with a number of absences to guide Chelsea to an excellent win against the champions.”
After the Blues’ two previous league games against Brighton & Hove Albion and Manchester United, Maresca faced a lot of criticism.
While Chelsea went down to 10 men in both matches, supporters felt that his substitutions were too negative.
There were no complaints post-Liverpool, though, with Estevao coming off the bench to secure Chelsea all three points. Maresca undoubtedly redeemed himself with his in-game management in the Liverpool victory.
After the international break, he takes his side to the City Ground to face Nottingham Forest.
