Ally McCoist can’t believe Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang isn’t starting games for Chelsea right now.
The Blues are going through a horrific run of form right now, winning just two from their last 16 games across all competitions.
Chelsea’s owners appear to be standing by Graham Potter as the club’s head coach, but the atmosphere in the fanbase is starting to turn very sour in recent weeks.
It’s obvious that one of the biggest current problems is the lack of goals in the entire squad.

TalkSPORT pundit McCoist is convinced something behind the scenes has resulted in Aubameyang’s recent omission from the Chelsea side.
“Something has happened there with Aubameyang,” McCoist told talkSPORT.
“How can you not give your only out-and-out centre-forward a game? He’s the best goalscorer and he gets 7/8 minutes here and there.”

From a football perspective, it does seem odd that Aubameyang can barely get a sniff right now.
The £160,00-a-week individual is the senior centre-forward in the Blues squad, but versatile attacker Kai Havertz continues to struggle away in the No.9 position.
Aubameyang, who cost £10million last summer, came off the bench for a late cameo appearance in the weekend defeat at Tottenham. However, that was the first time he had played since 21 January against Liverpool.
If there are any ongoing issues, they need to be brushed under the carpet fairly quickly.
Aubameyang hasn’t looked at his dazzling best in his appearances this season, but he’s a proven finisher that surely can’t do much worse if he gets a run of opportunities in the starting XI.
