Thomas Tuchel gave a glowing review of Emerson in regards to his devotion towards Chelsea, speaking in his press conference.
Emerson has found minutes hard to come by this season and is yet to start a Premier League match in 2020/21.
He is behind Ben Chilwell and Marcos Alonso in the left-back pecking order, a reduced role that’s resulted in reports suggesting he could leave Stamford Bridge soon.

This back-up job has been pretty prominent ever since the Italian international joined from Roma in 2018 for £17.6m (Sky Sports).
However, Tuchel has never shied away from complimenting the 26-year-old and did so again during his latest presser.
When discussing players who haven’t had a lot of game time this term, the Chelsea boss included Emerson in that conversation.
The Blues boss said: “And also, from Emerson, who did not play for many games but is always here with a smile.
“He is always pushing, pushing with quality. Pushing when he’s on the bench, ready when he’s on the pitch.”

Squad rotation is more crucial than ever, especially with Chelsea continuing to fight in three competitions this campaign.
Understudy’s like Emerson have been used to good effect by Tuchel, offering out minutes towards the end of matches when the result is almost secured.
Chelsea face Brighton & Hove Albion tomorrow evening, meaning another opportunity for a reshuffle of the pack.
