Mykhailo Mudryk finally ended his wait for a first Chelsea goal in last night’s win against Fulham.
Mykhailo Mudryk, 22, scored his first Blues goal in yesterday’s 2-0 victory away to Fulham in the Premier League.
The Ukraine international tucked in a left-footed finish after controlling a fantastic through ball from Levi Colwill, so supporters will now hope that is the first of many for him.
We’ve spotted a lot of positive signs from the left-winger this season that suggested he was finding some rhythm in his game. There’s no doubt that the decision from Mauricio Pochettino to give him a run of starts has played its role, too.

Mudryk celebrated last night’s win and goal with an Instagram post.
Chelsea’s 19-year-old youngster Andrey Santos, who’s currently out on loan at Nottingham Forest, responded in the comment section.
“The best,” Santos replied.

There’s concerns about Mudryk’s fitness after he was forced off at half time in Chelsea’s win on Monday.
However, Mudryk did claim after the match that his injury concern is “okay”, as quoted by Viaplay Football.
We’re hopeful that the rapid wide player is passed fit to play this Saturday away to Fulham, which is the team’s final game before another international break. If so, he deserve to be in the starting line-up for a fifth consecutive match across all competitions.
There’s definitely still a rawness about Mudryk’s game and his end product is inconsistent, but the threat is there when he takes on his full-back 1v1 with speed and directness.
