Chelsea star Antonio Rudiger has given a glowing verdict on the ability of his teammate Thiago Silva.
Blues defender Rudiger, 28, has admitted that there is a lot he can learn from his senior teammate.
Silva, who earns £110,000-a-week (Spotrac), has made a huge difference since his move to Stamford Bridge last summer.
The 36-year-old Brazilian has had such an illustrious career at former clubs Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan, but this season he’s shown he’s still a class act.
He’s an old school defender that knows every trick in the book, and it’s remarkable that at his age he’s made it look effortless adjusting to Premier League football.
Rudiger has shared that that Silva is someone who sets the example behind the scenes in training:
“Thiago Silva, everything speaks for itself. A world-class defender, he’s showed that in every club he has been at the top – Milan, PSG and now here. He shows that age is just a number and there is a lot you can learn from him,” Rudiger said, as quoted by Football London.
“He has a boss-like presence, the way he talks, the way he trains, how professional he is.”

The Chronicle View
Chelsea have looked defensively solid with Silva in the team, but even without him during his recent injury absence it looks like he’s rubbed off on his defensive teammates.
He’s exactly the type of figure that the likes of Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Kurt Zouma can learn so much from due to his experience at the top level.
If Silva is speaking in the Chelsea dressing room, it’s easy to imagine the rest of the players listening intently.
