Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said Chelsea striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could cause problems for his former club in Sunday’s clash at Stamford Bridge.
Being the joint-lowest scoring team (17 goals) in the top 10 of the Premier League table so far, Chelsea clearly have plenty of problems in attack.
Summer signings; Raheem Sterling and Aubameyang, have yet to meet the high expectations and have only scored twice and once in the league for the Blues, respectively.
Aubameyang, in particular, managed to score 11 goals for Barcelona in the second half of the season, and is a proven goalscorer in the Premier League, so his lack of output is quite a surprise.
Arsenal boss Arteta, however, clearly does not want to underestimate Aubameyang’s goalscoring prowess.

“Very dangerous,” the Arsenal manager said about Aubameyang in his pre-match press conference (via Hayters TV).
“If Auba gets something he believes he can put in the back of the net, he is going to do that.”
Asked about how he plans to nullify the former Gabon international, Arteta added: “First of all, we have to look what Chelsea will do.
“[Then] we try to put a plan together to try to avoid that.”
To be fair, Aubameyang had a late start to the season due to a jaw injury, which might have had an effect on his performance.
The managerial change at Chelsea also meant that he had to adapt to a new system, in addition to having to adjust to his new teammates.
On a more positive note, Aubameyang himself said he is ready to make a statement against his former team.
