Fabrizio Romano has shared that Chelsea are looking to move quickly in order to secure one of their top targets right now.
The Blues seem to be wanting to conduct their business in a swift fashion this summer in order to give the best possible platform for new manager Enzo Maresca to succeed.
They have already secured the free transfer of former Fulham star Tosin Adarabioyo, with him reportedly excited about working under the Italian next season.

It has been claimed they are keen to make moves at the other end of the pitch too, and it has been stated one of their top targets at this stage is Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran.
After interest in bringing him in back in January, he has returned to the forefront of their thinking.
Reports from South America even claimed a fee had been agreed in the region of £42m for the player, although it does not seem to be quite that straight forward.
Chelsea wnat new striker ‘as soon as possible’
Romano claimed on YouTube that the Blues had more talks with Villa yesterday, and they want to wrap up a deal for a new striker as soon as possible.
He said: “Chelsea are working on Jhon Duran, even today. The two clubs are discussing, and Duran is one of the concrete names on Chelsea’s shortlist for the new striker. They want to bring in the new striker as soon as possible in the market. They don’t want to have him at the end of August. This is the priority.
“Jhon Duran is super keen on the move. There are also other clubs around Europe interest, and calls are already arriving. There is movement around him, but Chelsea are talking to Aston Villa and the player’s side, I can confirm this.”
Some Chelsea fans were concerned over the prospect of the Blues moving for the youngster, with the development of Nicolas Jackson on their minds.
They were reportedly one of the clubs keen on a move to sign Benjamin Sesko, however he has decided to stay at RB Leipzig for now and is one for the future.
