Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins credited Chelsea star Mason Mount for his excellent levels during England’s training sessions, speaking on Rio Ferdinand Presents FIVE.
Watkins and Mount were both part of the latest Three Lions camp for their three World Cup qualifying fixtures last month.

It was the Villa striker’s first international call-up and he marked it with a goal on his debut.
Meanwhile, Mount started all three games for Gareth Southgate, continuing to demonstrate why he is one of the nation’s most priceless footballing commodities.

Usually Premier League adversaries, Watkins was wowed by the Chelsea midfielder after sharing the St George’s Park training pitch together.
He said: “Mason Mount is another one. Consistent, he’s always top in training, never really gives the ball away. He makes things look easy.”
What Watkin’s was able to witness away from the camera’s glare is clearly reciprocated when Mount enters into a competitive scenario.
His quality seems to grow by the day, as does he maturity and ability to control games.

Thomas Tuchel didn’t take long to recognise the 22-year-old’s importance, having momentarily dropped him for his maiden fixture in charge of Chelsea.
Since that 0-0 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers in January, Mount has been omitted from just two more matchday squads.
Once away to Barnsley in the FA Cup, the other enforced about facing a suspension for the Champions League second-leg tie against Atletico Madrid.
A crucial cog for both club and country, the Blues star shows no signs of slowing down any time soon.
