Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang said he had already known a few Chelsea players quite well before his deadline-day transfer.
The 33-year-old has joined the Blues on a two-year contract and has taken the number nine shirt vacated by Romelu Lukaku earlier this summer.
Having spent four years at Arsenal prior to his six-month spell at Barcelona, it is hardly a surprise that Aubameyang already knows most of his new teammates at Stamford Bridge.
However, there are three players in particular whom he knows more than the rest.

“From the team, I know Wesley Fofana, Raheem Sterling, and of course Christian Pulisic because I played with him in Dortmund,” the striker said in his first interview with Chelsea TV.
“The other ones I think I played against them, so I know a bit about them.”
Pulisic was of course not the only Chelsea person whom Aubameyang worked with.
“It’s an honour and a joy again,” he said about his reunion with Thomas Tuchel.
“Obviously, I enjoyed it. We had some good times in Dortmund, so I’m happy to play for him again.”

Similarly, in Friday’s press conference, Tuchel spoke about how he expects a lot from the striker whom he said always “delivers”.
Unfortunately, the manager also confirmed that Aubameyang will remain out for at least a week due to his jaw injury.
