Jude Bellingham has included fellow reported Chelsea target Christopher Nkunku in his ultimate five-aside team of opponent he’s played against.

Speaking on the Lions’ Den, Bellingham included the fellow Bundesliga gem in his own footballing quintet of opposition players.

The England international has got rather well acquainted to Nkunku since his move to Germany in 2020.

They have both been in the division for roughly the same time, with Nkunku swapping Paris Saint-Germain for RB Leipzig in 2019.

Nkunku praised by Bellingham

Both he and Bellingham have strolled down their own respective paths of success whilst representing the two rival clubs.

Nkunku has increased his goal tally season-upon season, going from five, to seven, to 35, and is currently already on 17.

His scoring exploits have now made him one of the world’s most in demand forwards, with Chelsea seemingly winning the race for the Frenchman’s signature.

Todd Boehly is apparently close to landing the Leipzig attacker for next summer.

He might be joined at Stamford Bridge by Bellingham, who is also seemingly on Boehly’s transfer shopping list.

Dortmund’s teenage diamond might not complain potentially having Nkunku as a teammate, as he rates him so highly as a rival.

“If it’s against, Nkunku to be honest. Bagsman. Probably would be good at five aside,” said the 19-year-old when asked to pick his best five-aside of past opponents.

We know what you are wondering: who else makes Bellingham’s small-side?

“I’m not playing with a goalie. (Kevin) De Bruyne easily, so good man. (Joshua) Kimmich, really good player,” he continued.

“I could probably just make a (Manchester) City team or a Bayern (Munich) mix. Thomas Muller let’s say.

“(Erling) Haaland, obviously I played against him. I keep thinking we play on the same team; it’s quite sad really!”

Not a bad miniature squad in the slightest.
