Pundit Mark Ogden has claimed that one Chelsea player could be sacrificed by Todd Boehly and co this summer.
He told BBC’s ‘The Tuesday Night Club’ that he believes the Blues may sell one of their top players for around £100m this summer in order to balance the books.
It has been widely claimed that Chelsea are needing to sell a number of players this summer before they add to their squad.
Chelsea need to sell this summer
With the amount of players they currently have on their books, it does feel as if very few would be off limits when it comes to the upcoming transfer window.
If there was to be a standout from the squad right now though, it would certainly be Cole Palmer off the back of his sensational first campaign at the club.

His stock only increased last night too, when the Blues were soundly beaten by Arsenal in his absence.
Ogden however has claimed he could see a world where Boehly looks to cash in on a player who has doubled in transfer value already.
Ogden thinks Todd Boehly could cash in on Cole Palmer
He said: “Because of the way Chelsea operated and we know they posted losses of around £90 million last month, because they have a real fight on their hands to comply with PSR, would any of us by surprised if someone made a big bid for Cole Palmer this summer that they [would sell him?].
“They would double their money at least. They paid £40 million for him, Cole Palmer is now a £100 million player.
“If you’re Cole Palmer you are looking round thinking I had a great season but is that where the future is, can Chelsea give him what his talent deserves or is there a bigger club who can give him [what he wants?]. He will want to play in the Champions League, won’t he?
“I don’t know of any interest in Cole Palmer but if someone says here’s £100 million for Cole Palmer would Chelsea’s regime turn it down, I couldn’t say that they would.”
It has been reported already that some at the club see the former Manchester City man as the new poster boy of the project at Stamford Bridge, over the likes of Cobham graduate Reece James.
However, it will no doubt be frustrating for the current top scorer in the Premier League that his side are unlikely to qualify for European football at the end of this season.
