Most Chelsea supporters on social media were delighted to hear Christian Pulisic had been included in the Champions League squad to face Malmo.
Thomas Tuchel confirmed in his press conference earlier today that Pulisic will be part of the travelling pack, who fly to Sweden later today.
Pulisic’s problems
The American has not played a single minute of club football since the Premier League’s opening weekend.
He sustained an ankle injury whilst representing his national team in September.

Trips to the treatment table have been an all-too-frequent part of the 23-year-old’s relatively short Chelsea career.
This latest damage adds to a long list of different wounds and woes.
However, it seems Pulisic is finally on the verge of recovery and could well feature briefly against Malmo tomorrow night.
An update that sat very well with a majority of Blues fans.
Here’s how they reacted on Twitter:
Walking wounded
Of course, Pulisic will probably be limited to only a handful of minutes – if any at all – on Tuesday evening.
The risk of losing him again is simply not worth it.
Chelsea already have a number of other absentees to worry about, without moving Pulisic back to the hospital bed.
Timo Werner, Romelu Lukaku and Mateo Kovacic are all currently out through injury, whilst Mason Mount is recovering from an illness.

N’Golo Kante is constantly being cautiously treated, due to his recent chequered medical history.
Thankfully for Thomas Tuchel, his squad’s depth is arguably the finest on the continent.
He can rotate the team repeatedly, without losing too much quality, if even a few star players are missing.
