Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka led the praise last night for former Blues man Ruben Loftus-Cheek for his performance in the Champions League.
He was one of a number of players who commented on the England international’s Instagram post following their win last night, which was also reacted to by former Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.
Loftus-Cheek stepped up on the big stage last night as AC Milan picked up a crucial win in the Champions League.

They beat PSG 2-1, with Olivier Giroud scoring the winning goal in the second half to keep their qualification hopes alive.
This came after former target Rafael Leao had got them back level with a brilliant goal, although the praise was firmly left at Loftus-Cheek’s door.
He was handed the player of the match award for his display, as he looked to show Chelsea exactly what they didn’t get the best out of.
Chukwuemeka praises Loftus-Cheek

On his post-game Instagram post, both Chukwuemeka and Abraham were quick to praise their former teammate at Stamford Bridge.
Chukwuemeka has had a difficult season so far, with it looking as if he was going to be an important player early in the campaign.
Minutes after he scored his first goal for the club, he was forced off with a knee injury that wasn’t expected to keep him out for too long.
However, fast forward to November and he is still not part of the matchday squad after suffering a setback in his recovery.
When he gets back, the midfield position is one that is going to be difficult to break back into following the impressive form of Cole Palmer.
The 21-year-old has been a revelation since his deadline day signing, and will be extremely difficult to displace for anyone who is looking to get back into the fold.
