Former Chelsea player Craig Burley has some doubts about Armando Broja.
While Craig Burley says he was impressed with Armando Broja during his loan spell at Southampton a couple of seasons ago, the pundit recently suggested on ESPN FC that the striker should be at a bottom half Premier League club like Everton.
Broja is actually being linked with a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers, who are just outside of the top 10.
The 22-year-old has made 17 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea this term, scoring two goals.
Armando Broja could do a job at Everton
According to Burley, Broja would be a better fit for a team below Chelsea in the Premier League table.
On the Albania international, he said: “I liked him when he was at Southampton, Broja. I think that’s kind of [the level]. Not Southampton because they’re in the Championship, but they might come back up.
“But somewhere else, bottom half of the Premier League I could see him going in, an Everton or someone like that, and maybe do a job.”

Chelsea should not loan out Armando Broja
Is Broja ready to be Chelsea’s first-choice striker? Probably not. He is still quite young and has not really had a truly prolific season in senior football yet.
However, the Blues should not be too quick to let him join Wolves or another Premier League side this month.
They are already light up front, with Nicolas Jackson away at the Africa Cup of Nations and Christopher Nkunku, who is not a natural centre-forward anyway, struggling to remain fit.
If the Blues can bring in a new striker before the transfer window closes, it changes things somewhat. But if not, it would be a bit silly to let Broja go and it is hard to imagine that actually happening without another body coming in.
