Cole Palmer is beginning to cut a frustrated figure at Chelsea as they struggle to turn around their labouring form.
The Blues are on a run of two wins in 10 games in the Premier League, and in that time their star man has not contributed a goal or assist in the last four.
Palmer is still creating chances. He is up there with the very best in Europe since December despite not getting the assists to go with it.
However his individual game is dropping off too, and Palmer showed frustration at Christopher Nkunku when his own misplaced pass went astray from the Frenchman.

Getting the England international some time off the pitch could well be huge for maintaining his sharpness, however right now there is no possible alternative who can provide what he does to the team.
There may have been hope that Omari Kellyman could have fulfilled this role after he was signed in the summer from Aston Villa, while Ian Maatsen went the other way.
Up until now though, Kellyman has been plagued by injuries, meaning he has hardly been available for selection even for the youth teams.
It looks as if that rough run of missing games is close to coming to an end though. According to Football London, Kellyman is ‘very close’ to returning, with him expected back in early march.
The report goes on to say that the youngster is hopeful of making his Chelsea debut before the end of this season.

Who is the ‘brilliant’ Omari Kellyman?
Chelsea fans have not been able to get a good look at their summer signing yet, however he comes in high regard.
According to Goal, Unai Emery thought Kellyman was ‘brilliant’, and he can provide another option to feature in the role where Palmer has held down for so long.
When asked on his best role, Kellyman said: “Attacking midfield, definitely! As a 10. Sitting behind the striker, looking to get goals and assists.
“I’d say I’m forward thinking, attacking, just try to be positive and bring energy to the game.”
£19m was a fair investment from Chelsea in a young player, and they will be hoping to see a return from the former Villa man in the first team soon.
