Reports from Turkey have claimed that Galatasaray are already looking to sign one player who only just left Chelsea.

According to TV100, the Champions League side are keen to add Mateo Kovacic to their ranks on loan, mere months after he made the switch to Manchester City.

Kovacic was turfed out of Stamford Bridge as the club oversaw a massive change-up in midfield at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues brought in both Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia for big money, with the latter getting closer to returning from injury and finally making his debut.

The Croatian has had a fairly average start to life since moving to the treble winners. Perhaps predictably, he has been a regular on the bench for his new side.

This has perhaps perked the interest of one of Europe’s most interesting sides, with Galatasaray seemingly interested in bringing him in.

They have already made deals that have seen them bring in Premier League stalwarts such as Wilfried Zaha, Lucas Torreira and former Blue Hakim Ziyech.

Manchester United were the recent recipients of a tough result in Europe against the Turkish side, with them now on the brink of elimination from the competition following a 3-3 draw.

The report states that they would be keen on taking the midfielder on loan, with his value still sitting at around £32m.

Chelsea fans will likely be more impressed with the current state of that position at their club than those who were here last season.

Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez have formed a really strong partnership in the middle of the park, and there is a lot of promise that they may be the future for a long time at Stamford Bridge.
