Chelsea are encouraging Mykhailo Mudryk to be a lot louder when he steps on the pitch.

That is according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

Jacobs has reported via Simon Phillips’ Substack that Chelsea have been encouraging Mykhailo Mudryk to be “more vocal” during games.

In addition, the Blues are telling their 22-year-old attacker to be more “team orientated” and to “make better final decisions”.

It feels like Mudryk has been playing well within himself since joining Chelsea in January, scoring zero goals and making two assists in 20 games across all competitions.

The left-winger currently finds himself unable to break into Mauricio Pochettino’s starting Blues line-up, but hopefully things can change after the international break.

We do agree that Mudryk should be a more authorative figure on the pitch if he can.

The Ukraine international still needs to gain the trust of his Chelsea teammates on the field, which will come with better performances and attacking output.

Mudryk has recently liked a post on Instagram that suggests he should be starting more games for Chelsea.

A run of starts may be the fairest way for Pochettino to really judge the quick wide player, but he’s got a lot of talented teammates competing with him for more minutes.
