Reports have claimed that Chelsea are now considering making a signing this month that could see one of their current players become very happy.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the Blues are weighing up activating the £10m release clause that is currently in the contract of Roma star Paulo Dybala.
Dybala has five goals and six assists so far this season in the league, which are impressive numbers for just 13 Serie A appearances in a side who are largely underperfoming at times.

However, he has had to contend with not being the main man at all stages for Jose Mourinho during this campaign. Instead, the former Chelsea boss has made the most out of Romelu Lukaku during his loan from Stamford Bridge.
With the extremely attractive release clause in the contract of the Argentine, it has now been reported that the Blues are considering activating it during the January transfer window.
The reports follow some interest from Chelsea over the last summer transfer window, when one of their top players certainly made their case for him to join.
Chelsea considering Dybala
Enzo Fernandez stated that he was keen to join up again with his international teammate, even inviting him to a barbecue when he arrived.
An attacker is certainly high on the agenda at Stamford Bridge, with no one at the club being oblivious to the issues that have continued to plague them this season.
It has been claimed that Armando Broja could be on the move if a new player is signed, despite the fact that he was back amongst the goals at long last at the weekend in the FA Cup.
As well as Dybala, the Blues are reportedly considering moves this month for both Victor Osimhen and Ivan Toney, with the latter closing in on his return to action after being suspended for this campaign so far.
