Chelsea have made it no secret that they are building a seriously exciting project for the future at Stamford Bridge right now.

Ever since Todd Boehly took over as the owner of the club, there has been an impotence on bringing in the top young players in the game ahead of their rivals.

The highlight additions up to now have clearly been Estevao Willian and Kendry Paez. The latter is already making his mark at the age of just 17 at the Copa America for Ecuador.

Another promsing addition recently has been Marc Guiu from Barcelona. Enzo Maresca is reportedly planning on giving the striker a chance to impress in pre-season as a first teamer.

It has not all been window shopping abroad though, and The Secret Scout has claimed on Twitter that the Blues are looking to Crystal Palace to try and make their next addition.

Chelsea set to sign Reggie Watson

They said on Twitter: “Chelsea look to set to add Crystal Palace’s u15 Reggie Watson (son of Ben Watson) to their academy. The promising central midfielder had a great year with Palace but is now expected to move.”

When asked by a user in the replies if he was good, they simply replied: “Very.”

There has been plenty going on at youth level this summer, with Chelsea potentially about to lose one of their most promising talents.

Rio Ngumoha is threatening to do big things in the game when he gets his shot at first team level, however is reportedly currently not set to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge.

It was claimed as recently as last month that he was looking more likely to leave the club, with many fearing they could be about to lose out on a star of the future.

It is perhaps a statement of the confidence those coming through at Cobham have right now after seeing so many big names join the club from overseas.
