Chelsea consider former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann as a candidate to replace the team’s manager Graham Potter, according to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg.
The three consecutive wins, prior to the draw with Everton, effectively ended the talks of an immediate sacking of Potter at Chelsea.
His position, however, remains relatively unsafe.
Chelsea remain 10th in the Premier League and the unlikely chance of winning the Champions League is the club’s only hope for silverware.
Potter retains the support of the Chelsea board, but Sky Germany reporter Plettenberg claims that the club have also been looking at other options, including recently-sacked Nagelsmann.

“Understand he’s on the shortlist of Chelsea,” the German journalist wrote on Twitter when speaking about Nagelsmann.
“In case Potter should be dismissed.
“Important: Chelsea wants to continue with Potter, and the bosses support him. But he has to deliver now!
“Nagelsmann is unlikely to take over a new job immediately.”
Nagelsmann already worked with Chelsea technical director Christopher Vivell at RB Leipzig, so the board would likely know what to expect from him if they were to put him in charge of the team.
As Plettenberg pointed out, however, Potter will likely have time to lead the team.
