Chelsea could be set for a huge triple injury boost going into their game against Arsenal after the international break.

According to the Evening Standard, Reece James, Benoit Badiashile and Trevoh Chalobah are all expected to be back from injury very soon.

James has played just one game this season, while Badiashile and Chalobah are yet to feature at all.

Their returns, James’ especially, could come at a great time.

Chelsea are about to take on an in-form Arsenal side, who just beat Premier League champions Manchester City.

Reece James likely to start

If James, Badiashile and Chalobah are all fit enough to play against Arsenal, you suspect the Chelsea captain is the only one out of the trio who will start the game.

The England international is captain and such an influential figure on that right side so should get the nod to begin the match.

It is a bit different for Badiashile and Chalobah, though. They currently have a bit of competition in front of them in the form of Thiago Silva and Axel Disasi, while Levi Colwill’s natural position is also in central defence.

Chelsea have missed having a player of James’ ability on the pitch. The one game he played in, the 1-1 draw with Liverpool at the start of the season, the 23-year-old made two key passes. Only Dominik Szoboszlai (three) made more in the match, according to WhoScored.

Despite being a right-back, the Three Lions star just brings so much to this Chelsea team going forward.
