If Napoli supporters want to know what the future holds for Antonio Conte, then they should ask their Chelsea counterparts.
Conte is one of Chelsea’s most successful ever managers, winning the Premier League title and FA Cup trophy during his two seasons at the club.
However, he left Stamford Bridge in ugly fashion, receiving the sack after a turbulent 2017/18 campaign.
History is now starting to repeat itself at Napoli following their latest loss to Bologna. A successful season where the title was won is now being followed by a season of chaos.

Antonio Conte imploding at Napoli but resignation rumours denied
Just before the international break, Napoli lost 2-0 to Bologna, a defeat that did not go down well with Conte.
So angry with what he saw from his players and their recent form in general, it was claimed that the 56-year-old could resign from his role as Napoli manager.
The club’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis has since taken to X to dismiss those rumours, but Chelsea supporters will feel that an exit at some point is inevitable.
In west London, Conte’s relationship with his players really started to sour, making his position untenable, and the same thing is starting to happen at Napoli.
Who could forget the infamous text message that saw Chelsea have to sell their best striker, Diego Costa?
“I don’t want to accompany a dead man,” Conte told sky sport in a post-match interview when speaking about Napoli following their latest loss. That would not have gone down well with the team’s players.

Antonio Conte’s Chelsea record compared to Enzo Maresca’s
Chelsea fans will be happy with the man they currently have in charge, Enzo Maresca. In just one season, he won the Club World Cup and Conference League while taking the Blues back into the Champions League.
Conte’s record in the Premier League is much better than his compatriot’s, though.
| Manager | League games in charge of Chelsea | Wins | Draws | Losses | Points | Points per match |
| Antonio Conte | 76 | 51 | 10 | 15 | 163 | 2.14 |
| Enzo Maresca | 49 | 26 | 11 | 12 | 89 | 1.82 |
However, after his implosion in west London and given what is happening at Napoli now, Stamford Bridge will not want the 56-year-old back, at least not for the time being.
