Enzo Maresca’s changes played a large part in Chelsea picking up their first away win of 2025 in dramatic fashion against West London rivals Fulham.
The Blues were sliding towards yet another case of dropped points in the Premier League, before late goals from Tyrique George and Pedro Neto turned things around for the Blues.
Pressure was no doubt mounting on Maresca, as Chelsea’s chances of qualifying for the Champions League relied on them picking up all three points at Craven Cottage.
As the boss searched for answers, he threw on George for the sixth time in the Premier League, with him yet to start a game in the top flight.
The youngster has been one of the shining lights in recent weeks for an underperforming Chelsea side, and Blues supporters have seen more than enough from the teenager to convince them that he has a part to play in the coming weeks.

Chelsea fans demand Tyrique George becomes starter after goal vs Fulham
Chelsea fans took to Twitter to praise George, whilst also making it clear that they want him to be starting the biggest games of the Blues’ season in the run in.
One user said: “Tyrique George and Pedro Neto may have literally just saved the project. crazy stuff.”
Another added: “All that money spent on attackers and Tyrique George provides the moment that gets us back into the game and potentially saves the season. Big up Cobham!”
A third simply stated: “Tyrique George should be starting every game.”
Another user claimed: “Tyrique George and Jadon Sancho HAVE to start our next Premier League game. 5 finals to go. Have to roll with momentum.”
Finally, one user said: “TYRIQUE GEORGE! Play the kid more, he is dynamite. Need another goal.”
Tyrique George attracting Premier League interest
Enzo Maresca cannot continue to snub George for a start much longer, with other clubs beginning to take note of the talents the Cobham star has.
It has previously been reported that Everton are taking note of George, as they keep tabs on whether an opportunity could arise to bring him in.
The Blues are likely going to be busy looking for new attackers in the upcoming transfer window, and are already set to welcome Estevao Willian and Kendry Paez to their ranks.
However, George is going the right away about continuing to be able to give himself a chance at regular minutes in the future, however he needs to be shown that pathway as soon as next week.
