Chelsea and Lille legend Eden Hazard has brought his incredible football career to an end.
Eden Hazard announced his retirement earlier today and Chelsea supporters have since taken to social media to hail their former player and his amazing career.
It is obviously not hard to understand why the Stamford Bridge faithful are so fond of the Belgian.

He was an absolutely phenomenal player for Chelsea, scoring 110 goals during his time at Stamford Bridge.
Some of those goals helped the Blues to win the Premier League and Europa League, to name a couple of honours Hazard managed to claim during his time in west London.
“We all love that guy,” one Chelsea supporter posted on X.
“What a player he was,” another said.
There is no doubt that Hazard will always be welcome at Stamford Bridge after everything he accomplished in a blue shirt.
In the end, things did not quite work out for him at Real Madrid. But at Chelsea, he proved to be one of the most dangerous wingers this era of football has ever seen.

For the Belgium national team, perhaps Hazard and those he played with should have accomplished more. But he still managed to earn 126 caps for his country and help them finish third in the 2018 World Cup.
Had he stayed at Chelsea instead of joining Real Madrid, his legacy at Stamford Bridge would have been an even greater one. Nevertheless, Hazard bows out of the game as a Chelsea legend and arguably the most talented player to ever play for the club.
