Chelsea recorded a narrow victory at home to Newcastle United on Saturday – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter picked out Callum Hudson-Odoi as the special talent for his performance.
Frank Lampard’s side recored a 1-0 win in the Premier League and it took until the 73rd minute for Marcos Alonso’s low strike to make the breakthrough against a resilient opponent.

The Blues carved out some strong opportunities during the game, but it was full-back Alonso that hit the winner and reminded everyone of his attacking instincts.
Chelsea have temporarily jumped up to third in the table with another three points and are now on a three-game winning run in the league.
They travel to Dutch giants Ajax on Wednesday for a Champions League group stage fixture, before travelling to Turf Moor to face Burnley next weekend in the league.

Hudson-Odoi received massive praise for his contribution against Newcastle and his pass was the assist for Alonso’s winner.
He has made quite the statement since returning from a serious injury and quickly became a vital first-team player.

The left-winger tormented the Newcastle defence with his pace and trickery, with his individual skill injecting something special in the final third to Chelsea.
Hudson-Odoi, 18, has now scored or assisted in all five senior games he has played so far this season for Chelsea and it looks like he has already forced his way into Lampard’s best XI.
