Despite going close on a couple of occasions in the first half, Chelsea couldn’t find a cutting edge in the final third, and the attack was somewhat disappointing.

The 28-year-old defender appeared to get his head on every cross into the Blues box, with some really crucial interceptions and blocks.
A managerial change has seen him reignite his best form, something which is great news for the Blues defence.
