Ruben Loftus-Cheek impressed during Fulham’s Premier League match on Saturday afternoon – and some Chelsea fans on Twitter reacted with great positivity after watching him in action.
Blues academy graduate Loftus-Cheek was loaned out to Fulham at the beginning of the season, where he’s become a regular in Scott Parker’s XI.
Fulham were involved in a thrilling 2-2 draw away to West Brom over the weekend, which is a result that means both teams remain in the bottom three cut adrift of 17th-placed Brighton.
Loftus-Cheek, 25, started in advanced wide role at the Hawthorns and he’s mainly been played in the attacking positions this campaign.
The 10-time capped England international showed some brilliant individual moments at Wet Brom, including some driving runs forward with his with his physicality and athleticism, as well as some intelligent movement and silky touches.
He’s still striving to get anywhere near back to his best, but his loan spell seems to be improving and he’s playing Premier League football regularly.

A selection of Chelsea supporters on social media are still holding out hope that he can break back into the first team at Stamford Bridge next season.
The all-action attacking midfielder showed in the past he’s got the talent, but his horrid record of injuries derailed him and he’s not quite hitting dizzy heights yet.
With a new manager in Thomas Tuchel at the Chelsea helm, it’s a chance for the on-loan stars to try catch his eye.
