Chelsea recored an impressive win against Championship opposition Barnsley on Wednesday night – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter picked out forward Tammy Abraham for big praise following his performance.
The Blues earned a 6-0 victory against Barnsley at Stamford Bridge in the third round of the Carabao Cup, which means they will play either Leyton Orient or Tottenham in the fourth round of the competition.

Despite the opposition providing a decent goal threat, it was Frank Lampard’s side that flexed their muscles in the final third in the goal fest.
There were goals from Abraham, Ross Barkley and Olivier Giroud, while summer signing Kai Havertz stole the headlines and will have got a massive boost from his hat-trick.
Chelsea also got the chance to hand out two debuts, as centre-back Thiago Silva started the fixture and got an hour in his legs before coming off.
Meanwhile, new left-back Ben Chilwell also featured for the first time since his arrival from Leicester City and he got a late cameo, which included an excellent assist with his cross for Giroud’s goal.

A selection of Chelsea supporters on social media felt that Abraham was a real star of the show despite Havertz’s masterclass.
Abraham, 22, scored a composed goal when one-on-one goal with the goalkeeper, but was particular impressive with his link up play in the final third with his teammates.
The English centre-forward knows he’s got a big job on his hands to get in the starting XI ahead of new signing Timo Werner, but he sent out a big statement in midweek.
