Chelsea supporters have taken to Twitter to share their views on the news the club is ready to smash the transfer world record for a goalkeeper by signing Kepa Arrizabalaga for £71 million.
As reported by the Guardian, the Blues will ease the blow of losing Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid by signing Kepa before Thursday’s deadline for around double what the Belgian will be sold for.

Athletic Bilbao Coup
In addition to the Kepa deal, Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic will also join the club on a season-long loan, with the 24-year-old having not hidden the fact that he wanted to leave the Bernabeu this summer.
It is a huge coup for Kepa’s club Athletic Bilbao, who almost cashed in on the stopper back amid interest from Real in January for just £18 million.

The 23-year-old actually passed a medical but the deal fell through after Zinedine Zidane expressed his concerns about changing goalkeeper and disrupting rhythm.
The news has come out of nowhere, and more or less every football fan has had something to say about the 23-year-old’s imminent move, which will shatter the previous record for a goalkeeper set only a matter of weeks ago by Liverpool when they signed Alisson for £66.9 million from Roma.
