Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to react after Moises Caicedo made his debut for the Blues.
The Ecuador international was given his first Chelsea appearance by Mauricio Pochettino as West Ham recorded a 3-1 win over the Blues inside the London Stadium.
So, what have Chelsea fans been saying about Moises Caicedo after the 21-year-old made his debut? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, Chelsea supporters all over the land were looking forward to seeing the South American in action, after the Blues finally agreed a £115m deal with Brighton for his services.
However, fans were made to wait as Pochettino named Caicedo on the bench.

The Argentine eventually introduced the Ecuadorian in the 61st minute as Chelsea trailed 2-1 to West Ham, and he proceeded to endure a tough time in east London.
Caicedo smashed a shot miles over the bar with his third touch for Chelsea, and then went on to give away a penalty after fouling Emerson Palmieri in the dying stages.
Lucas Paqueta scored to make it 3-1 and compound a miserable debut for Caicedo.
Chelsea fans react to Moises Caicedo debut
One Chelsea fan hopped onto Twitter to say that the club’s new record signing “didn’t look fit” against the Hammers.

Another blamed Caicedo’s poor debut on Pochettino – as you can see below.
Furthermore, another Chelsea fan called Caicedo’s debut a “nightmare” as he struggled against David Moyes’ side.
A fourth Chelsea supporter simply said that the Ecuadorian was “bad” – while adding that he must simply be out of form.
Another Chelsea fan made a comment about Caicedo’s fitness.
In truth, it is possible that the Chelsea No.25 was simply rusty, as he barely featured for Brighton throughout pre-season as he tried to force an exit.
Finally, two more Chelsea fans went in a bit harder on Caicedo, with one calling his £115m fee “shameful” and his display against West Ham “shocking” – ouch.
Another simply said that Caicedo had an “absolute shocker” – there’s no denying that.
Hopefully, Caicedo does not let his eventful debut get inside his head, and he can go on to enjoy a fantastic career at Stamford Bridge.
In our view – once he settles alongside Enzo Fernandez – Chelsea fans will see exactly why the club splashed out a truly massive fee to secure Caicedo’s signature.
