Chelsea have a mouth-watering clash against Manchester United on Saturday in the Premier League – and some Blues fans on Twitter have claimed in the build-up to the match that they would like to see defender Fikayo Tomori promoted to the starting XI.
Tomori has had little game-time at the beginning of the season and the 22-year-old has found himself down the pecking order.
The English centre-back has featured just once in the Premier League so far in a substitute role, as well as starting in two Carabao Cup fixtures.
Manager Frank Lampard has five senior centre-half options available to him in the first-team squad and he’s still trying to work out his best combination at Stamford Bridge, but it looks like Thiago Silva and Kurt Zouma are the current frontrunners.

Chelsea travel to Old Trafford this weekend to face rivals Man United, who have had a difficult start in the league but will be massively boosted by beating Paris Saint-Germain in midweek in the Champions League group stages.
The Blues lost three of the four meetings with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team last year and it’s a big opportunity for them to seek some revenge.
A selection of Chelsea supporters on social media have stated pre-match that they would like to see Tomori get a chance and he’s someone that did play 22 first-team games last season.
