It is no doubt a busy job at Stamford Bridge keeping track of all the players who are currently out on loan from Chelsea.
There are plenty of players who are not in West London this season who will be looking to make an impression and eventually work their way into the first team setup.
Alfie Gilchrist has been impressing at Sheffield United in the Championship. After some poor displays from their own defenders this season, there are no doubt some wondering if he could have had a role to play this season instead.
While some such as Raheem Sterling do not have bright futures at the club, the likes of Andrey Santos are likely taking far more time of the Chelsea scouts’ time up.

Chelsea delighted with Andrey Santos
They will be very impressed with what they have seen so far this season at Strasbourg. Santos is the highest rated player for his age this season.
Graeme Bailey has told The Chelsea Chronicle that while Chelsea have been delighted with how he is playing, they are not putting pressure on him to succeed instantly.
He said: “I think they’re not putting any pressure on. Strasbourg are playing really well, they’re very pleased with how things are going generally.
“In terms of Santos, he’s not gone there and been told to prove himself, but go there and show it. He’s been by far the standout Strasbourg player, and he’s doing exactly what he’s needed to do.”
Andrey Santos could replace Enzo Fernandez
It does not feel as if it will be long until Santos is making an impact at Stamford Bridge, and this could spell bad news for Enzo Fernandez.
The World Cup winner has lost his place in the starting Premier League side at Chelsea, with Enzo Maresca seeming to prefer the partnership of Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo.
Another quality player in his position could make it even harder for him to break back into the side, and leave his future in a bit of doubt.
