Former Chelsea winger Pat Nevin has a warning for Cole Palmer after firmly establishing himself at Stamford Bridge.
Following his move from Manchester City to Chelsea last September, Cole Palmer has become one of the best players in England.

Palmer was often the man Chelsea looked for during their 1-1 draw with Manchester United over the weekend, and that is hardly a surprise after all of the matches that he has won for them.
He has now been warned, though, not to make the same mistake as one of his former teammates at City, Jack Grealish.

Pat Nevin claims Jack Grealish has been ruined in warning to Cole Palmer
Grealish was the star man at Aston Villa before his move to City. At the Etihad, though, he has become a peripheral figure.
Last season, the attacking midfielder made just 10 starts in the Premier League and could only score three goals.
Using him as an example, Nevin has warned Palmer that he must be at a club where he is going to be one of the main figures.
In an interview with EPL Index, the Chelsea legend said: “The world is his oyster. If he can keep away from injury, keep that calm head on his shoulders and he must stay at a club where he is a core player. That can sometimes ruin a player, just look at Jack Grealish at Manchester City.”
Cole Palmer will be Chelsea’s main man for years to come
If you are a Chelsea fan, then you probably do not have to worry about Palmer leaving the club any time soon.
Chelsea’s owners recently got the Englishman to sign a contract extension until 2033. If Real Madrid or another European giant come knocking, for example, Chelsea will hold all of the power.
From Palmer’s perspective, joining another team is probably not even a thought right now.
Again, Chelsea have helped him to become one of the most standout footballers in the country. The England international is in an environment that he is thriving in and will surely want to repay the club for all of the faith that they put in him.
After all, the Blues signed Palmer when he was a relatively unknown attacker. He is someone that they put a lot of trust in.
