Despite rumours linking them to making a number of signings in the January transfer window, the Blues completed just one permanent deal in that time period.

Enzo Maresca was keen to sign Garnacho, and the Blues could return to the scene of the Argentine when the current season is over.

Chelsea ready to return for Kenan Yildiz

Another player who was linked with a move to Stamford Bridge is Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz, who has established himself as a regular with the Serie A side alongside Chelsea loanee Renato Veiga.

Chelsea were prepared to offer big money for Yildiz in the January transfer window, however Juventus were able to keep hold of their young talent.

Now, according to Gazzetta, the Blues are considering making another move to sign the Turkish international, however face competition from the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United.

The report goes on to state that the Serie A side are holding out for a fee of around £66m in order to part ways with Yildiz, who has shown enormous potential in the early stages of his career.

The 19-year-old already has 19 caps for the Turkey national team under his belt, finding the net twice in that time.

For his club, Yildiz has made 28 appearances in Serie A this season, whilst also being a regular in the other competitions Juventus have competed in.

Chelsea are reportedly going to be in the market for a winger this summer with the future of Jadon Sancho remaining very much in the air.

The Manchester United loanee was expected to join permanently at the end of this season, however Chelsea are weighing up paying a small fee to opt out of the terms of the deal.
