Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson and two of his teammates have been included in WhoScored’s Team of the Week for gameweek 11 after the Blues’ 4-1 win against Tottenham Hotspur last night.

It is no surprise to see Nicolas Jackson included after the Senegal international scored a hat-trick in north London.

Cole Palmer probably warrants his spot in WhoScored‘s Team of the Week as well after netting himself and registering an assist. He has now dispatched all three of the penalties he has taken since joining Chelsea from Manchester City over the summer.

And the last inclusion is Conor Gallagher, who also provided an assist on the night.

Tottenham were playing with nine men, but someone still had to get the job done for Chelsea, and Jackson did with the help of Palmer and Gallagher.

Who was Chelsea’s best player against Tottenham?

Jackson will get a lot of the credit, which is good after his tough start to life in England, but Palmer was still arguably Chelsea’s most influential player yesterday despite his teammate being the one who scored the hat-trick.

The attacker was on it from minute one. While Chelsea struggled during the early stages of the game, he remained calm and coped with Spurs’ pressure.

Palmer, of course, then went on to score his penalty before setting up one of Jackson’s goals.

Without him, there is a good chance that Mauricio Pochettino’s side would have left the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium without earning a single point.

Palmer will now be looking to prove a point against his former club City when Chelsea welcome them to Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

At the same time, though, he looks to have fully moved on from his old side, recently expressing how much he is loving being at Chelsea, and that was before the Tottenham victory.
