Defence
We should just copy and paste these next words for the foreseeable future: Edouard Mendy remains in goal.
Going forward is where Tuchel’s team sheet becomes more complex.
Despite the grand occasion, anticipate Trevoh Chalobah to once again get the nod in defence.
The last week has been a whirlwind for the academy star, who is reportedly about to be awarded a new contract by his employers.
Beside him, the centurion Thiago Silva, who will be making his first competitive start of the term.
Antonio Rudiger keeps his place from the Palace victory.
Midfield
Cesar Azpilicueta has played a lot of his football under Tuchel at centre-back, but more recently, the captain can be found marauding down the right at wing-back.
Expect the Spanish skipper to be stationed there again, with Ben Chilwell returning on the opposite flank.
Marcos Alonso’s excellent form has kept the 24-year-old at arm’s length.
However, Arsenal’s squad is a lot smaller in height and speedier than Palace’s, which plays more into Chilwell’s hands than it does Alonso’s.
Thanks to the uncertainties regarding N’Golo Kante’s fitness, Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho should get the nod in midfield.
Attack
This is the announcement every Chelsea fan has been waiting for.
Mason Mount and Timo Werner are just sideshows to the main event.
Lukaku is the top billing, not just for the Blues, but for fantasy football enthusiasts up and down the country.
