Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has been left with some big decisions to make before picking his next side for Premier League action.

The boss made 11 changes to the side to take on Barrow in the Carabao Cup this week, with them running out dominant 5-0 winners.

Christopher Nkunku’s hat-trick only strengthened his case for a start in the side, although the form of all the attackers makes it very difficult for Maresca right now.

The Chelsea Chronicle have predicted the Blues XI for their next Premier League game against Brighton on Saturday.

Chelsea predicted XI vs Brighton

Robert Sanchez will be the first of a number of former Brighton players in this side, as he takes his place back in the starting XI.

The return from injury for Malo Gusto was one of the highlights of midweek action, and he will be back amongst the starters at the weekend.

Wesley Fofana’s fitness is still being closely monitored, and this will allow a second consecutive start at the back for Tosin Adarabioyo.

Alongside him, Levi Colwill will look to continue his excellent start to the campaign against the side he broke through with in the Premier League.

At left-back, Marc Cucurella will return to the starting side despite the return of Ben Chilwell to the Chelsea side this week.

In midfield, Moises Caicedo will start against his former side after being statistically named the best U23 holding midfielder in world football.

Alongside him will be Enzo Fernandez, who will again captain the Blues in the absence of Reece James.

Ahead of those two, Cole Palmer will continue to operate from the central role where he is proving even more impressive than ever before right now.

On the right, Noni Madueke will hold off the challenge of Pedro Neto for a start.

On the opposite flank, it will be Jadon Sancho starting for the second game in a row. He has a Premier League assist in both his appearances so far this season.

Up front, Nicolas Jackson will be preferred to Christopher Nkunku despite the Frenchman’s impressive start to the season in Blue.
