Chelsea at Leeds United is a fixture enshrined in footballing folklore but one that has been all too rare in recent times.
The Blues haven’t travelled to Elland Road for a top-flight match since December 2003.
In those 17 years since, only one other West Yorkshire meeting has taken place, a 5-1 League Cup victory for Chelsea in 2012.

Fast forward to the present day and Thomas Tuchel has the honour of taking his team to the Whites’ stomping ground tomorrow (12.30pm).
Although their rivalry may have lost some of its friction over time, Tuchel will want to select a team to suit the historic occasion.
A sturdy back line is definitely required against Marcelo Biela’s free-wheeling forwards.
Here’s how we think Chelsea should line up.
Edouard Mendy stays in goal, while Cesar Azpilicueta also remains undroppable.
There are two changes at centre-back alongside Chelsea’s captain from the 2-0 win over Everton on Monday.
Antonio Rudiger comes back in for Kurt Zouma, while Thiago Silva makes his long-awaited return from injury to replace Andreas Christensen.
The experienced Brazilian has been a prize asset since signing for Frank Lampard in August and will be eager to get as many minutes in before his body gives way again.

Christensen has been brilliant in Silva’s absence and it should be taken as a compliment that we feel he should be rested, with the Champions League tie against Atletico Madrid looming large.
Marcos Alonso is given a break too as Ben Chilwell steps in at left wing-back to cope with Leeds’ pacy attack.
Reece James sticks on the opposite flank as right wing-back. In between James and Chilwell is the midfield partnership of Jorginho and N’Golo Kante.
Jorginho is suspended for the Madrid match so is likely to play the full 90 minutes.

Kante was dropped in the week for Mateo Kovacic. Expect the roles to be reversed tomorrow.
Mason Mount will also miss the Atleti clash, through suspension, and will therefore be recalled by Tuchel as one of the attacking midfielders.
Timo Werner’s six assists this season don’t save him from being excluded at Leeds.

In Werner’s place comes the almost forgotten figure of Christian Pulisic, who starts a league game for the first time under Tuchel.
Kai Havertz rightly keeps his spot as the false striker following his terrific performance against Everton.
Chelsea predicted XI vs Leeds United: Mendy; Azpilicueta, Silva, Rudiger; James, Jorginho, Kante, Chilwell; Mount, Havertz, Pulisic
