Chelsea predicted XI vs Newcastle
While Filip Jorgensen impressed against Panathinaikos yesterday, Robert Sanchez will keep the faith of Enzo Maresca between the sticks.
Reece James’ return from injury was a highlight of their last Premier League game, and he will start again after not travelling to Greece.
Wesley Fofana will return to the starting side after missing the trip to Liverpool due to suspension.
He will be partnered by Levi Colwill, despite the impressive performances of late from Benoit Badiashile.
Marc Cucurella will start at left-back, with him proving an essential part of Maresca’s system.
Moises Caicedo has been in fine form this season, and will continue in the middle of the park.
Romeo Lavia to start ahead of Enzo Fernandez
He will again be joined by Romeo Lavia from the start, meaning it will be another outing on the bench for Enzo Fernandez.

On the right, Noni Madueke will look to ease the pressure on himself from his teammates in his position with a strong performance against Newcastle.
Cole Palmer will be hoping for a better outing this time around than against Liverpool as he occupies the central attacking role.
The opposite wing will see Enzo Maresca hand a chance for Mykhailo Mudryk to make his mark in the Premier League. Chelsea fans were very impressed with what they saw from Mudryk in the Conference League.
Up front, Nicolas Jackson will be hoping to build on his excellent start to the season with another Stamford Bridge goal or two.
