Chelsea prospect Ronnie Stutter has shared his big admiration for Raheem Sterling.
Ronnie Stutter, who’s just 18, is a young talent in the Chelsea academy.
The teenage striker has been around the first-team group at times this season, making the matchday squad for the Premier League fixture against Bournemouth last month.
However, the English youngster is still patiently waiting for his first ever senior appearance.
Incidentally, he’s been on fire this season with seven goals in eight games for Chelsea’s Under-21s side.

Chelsea role model
There’s not a great deal of experience when you look around Chelsea’s young squad, but Raheem Sterling is one of the few exceptions. Now 28, the Blues attacker is likely to be a key figure both on and off the pitch for Mauricio Pochettino’s squad.
Stutter has admitted that Chelsea forward Sterling is someone he greatly admires and studies to help his own game.
“There’s a level of intensity that is expected at this level of the game, and you simply cannot afford to slack off. Raheem’s game is so complete. The way he takes on defenders, protects the ball and his quick decision-making are all great things to see. I watched him closely and there are definitely things that I want to add to my game,” Stutter told Chelsea’s official website.
Let’s hope he can be the next mega star off the academy production line to follow in the footsteps of players such as Reece James and Levi Colwill.
Raheem Sterling can handle pressure
We feel like the extra responsibility on Sterling’s shoulders will only be a good thing for him moving forward.
If you’re a young talent in the Blues academy at Cobham, Sterling is a perfect role model to try emulate. In fact, you should be picking his brain at every available opportunity around the training ground.
Darren Bent recently told talkSPORT that Sterling has been Chelsea’s best player so far this season.
Aside from Thiago Silva, Sterling’s been the Chelsea player with the most experience in the starting line-up this campaign. You don’t score 166 goals in your senior club carer without being an exceptional talent and great professional.
