Chelsea have not been handed the task of replacing too many players in this January transfer window due to there not being as many exits as they would have liked.
The only player of note to leave the club so far this month is one they actually would not have been that keen on losing. Renato Veiga has joined Juventus on loan until the end of the season.
The Portugal international is reportedly keen on furthering his career as a centre-back, however this was very rarely on offer at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea miss out on perfect Renato Veiga replacement in Patrick Dorgu
It has been predicted to The Chelsea Chronicle that Veiga will leave permanently if he gets gametime in Italy, with him making it no secret that at a point he wanted to exit Chelsea completely.
There were a number of names on the Blues’ shortlist for a left-back to replace the summer signing, with them currently only having Marc Cucurella as a recognised option in this position.
One of the names on that list was Patrick Dorgu, who has come through as a starting player at Lecce and wanted by a number of clubs.
However, the Blues have seemingly been beaten to this addition by Premier League rivals Manchester United, who are desperate to make some signings under Ruben Amorim.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Dorgu’s medical is set for the weekend after long negotiations over a move to Old Trafford.
Chelsea could save Manchester United’s transfer window by signing Alejandro Garnacho

United are keen on making more moves this month, however this could very much rely on Chelsea.
It feels as if they are going to need to part ways with a big player to spend more money, and one of the frontrunners for this is Alejandro Garnacho.
The Blues are reportedly interested in signing the Argentine winger, however have been looking at other attacking targets late in this transfer window.
It remains to be seen if they make a late move for Garnacho, with Chelsea fans divided over whether he is what they need right now.
