Chelsea are likely to only make a move in January for a new player if they feel the perfect opportunity comes up to bolster their squad.
The club have certainly matured in the last few months under the new ownership when it comes to the transfer window. They didn’t sign a player during the previous January.
The Blues will be more likely to see players leave the club. Despite their desire to sell, it will be difficult to find a permanent suitor for the likes of Ben Chilwell midway through the season.
Perhaps their most likely avenue of signing a new player will be if they find an opportunity to bring in the next big talent of the future comes around.
