Chelsea told Dastan Satpaev will be better than Nicolas Jackson in two years’ time

One of those is Dastan Satpaev, who is certainly proving he knows where the goal is while featuring for Kairat Almaty in Kazakhstan and the Champions League.

Satpaev has already been likened to Lamine Yamal in terms of his potential, and now a former Premier League star has compared him to a current Chelsea player.

Andrey Arshavin told FonTeam that he believes in just two years’ time the youngster will be at a higher level than Nicolas Jackson, currently on loan from Chelsea.

He said: “I don’t see how Satpaev would be any worse than Nicolas Jackson in two years. Sure, Jackson is fast, but he’s skinny and, in my opinion, not as smart as Satpaev. So I think Dastan will have a real chance to break into Chelsea’s first team right away. And how he uses that chance – that’s up to him.”

Satpaev starring in preparation for Chelsea move

Chelsea have a coach working with Satpaev in Kazakhstan in an attempt to get him to a level to make an impact on the first team squad.

Satpaev impressed in the Champions League against Real Madrid, very nearly finding the net to open the scoring that day.

The youngster has also made himself a regular for the national team, with Jeremy Doku recognising Satpaev’s talents in a big win for Belgium against Kazakhstan.
