Christian Pulisic has provided an update about his Covid-19 case after Thomas Tuchel confirms the winger will not be available for Chelsea’s trip to Arsenal on Sunday.
The 22-year-old has been absent from Chelsea’s training sessions in the last few days.
Tuchel finally provided an explanation during his press conference this afternoon, confirming the winger’s Covid-19 case.
On a positive note, Pulisic does not seem to be in a worrying condition and is even looking forward to his return.

“Hi all, unfortunately I tested positive for Covid-19 earlier this week,” the American wrote on Instagram.
“Thankfully, I’m fully vaccinated and I have no symptoms so far.
“Can’t wait to get back in action!
“Thank you for your support.”
In an earlier report from The Sun, Ruben Loftus-Cheek also tested positive for Covid-19 after the UEFA Super Cup win last week.
Fortunately, Hakim Ziyech and N’Golo Kante are likely to be available after recovering from a shoulder and an ankle injury, respectively.
