Chelsea youngster who nearly left the club yesterday now hints he will play vs Forest

Chelsea youngster Deivid Washington has perhaps hinted on Instagram that he will be featuring for the Blues today.

He took to Instagram to share a pre-game graphic for the Premier League match, usually a sign that a player is going to be involved in the match.

Washington joined the club as another one of their young players brought in as part of the project of the new ownership.

Todd Boehly has headed up a number of youngsters joining the club before they reach their prime.

Some of the highlight additions so far have included Andrey Santos, Cesare Casadei and Kendry Paez.

These three are all a selection of players who are currently on loan, as they get themselves ready for first team action.

It was widely expected that Washington would also be one of those who would take their talents elsewhere for the campaign.

However, as the window approached its final moments, it became clear that he was actually going to be staying at the club.

Now, he has posted an Instagram story hinting he may well be involved in the squad for today’s Premier League game.

The Blues are looking to make it consecutive wins in the Premier League today at Stamford Bridge.

Last time out, it was a 3-0 win over recently promoted Luton Town.

The star of the show then was Raheem Sterling, and he will look to be back on form later this afternoon.
